Sneak Peak of the Festival Programme

Two inspiring filmmakers, Virpi Suutari and Niels Pagh Andersen will give masterclasses and Tue Steen Müller that got this year's EDN Award for a strong personal and life long commitment to the documentary genre, will take us for a walk down memory lane and do an anniversary seminar to celebrate Nordisk Panorama 25 years. We would also like to treat you to a work in progress of filmmaker Göran Olsson's new documentary Fonko that tells the story of the new Africa through its urban music and musicians.

Nordisk Panorama Outlook - Inspiring Industry Talks
Every year Nordisk Panorama presents NP Outlook, a series of talks and professional meetings bringing key players and key issues of today's short and documentary film market into the spotlight.

This year's focus will be on festival strategies, distribution and financing possibilities outside Europe as well as co-production of cross-media formats.

Nordisk Panorama Forum Selection
No less than 100 new documentary projects were submitted to the 21st edition of Nordisk Panorama Forum for Co-financing of Documentaries by some of the very best producers and directors the Nordic region has to offer.

A total of 24 projects for pitch have been selected. Among them the 5 Nordic Wildcards are brought to our attention by the documentary consultants at the Nordic film institutes. 22 observer+ projects have been selected for special access to meetings with decision-makers.

A Warm Welcome to the Balkan Delegation
Every year, Nordisk Forum welcomes a small delegation of producers from a designated guest territory to facilitate connections outside the Nordic countries. This year we're happy to welcome the Balkan delegation arranged in co-operation with Balkan Documentary Center as part of their workshop BDC Discoveries 2014.

Most importantly the delegation producers will participate in the event Producers Meet Producers, where they will meet their Nordic colleagues,
present themselves, network and outline their production landscape.
They will also learn more about how to co-produce with the Nordic countries.
