Sheffield Doc/Fest, the UK’s premier documentary marketplace, festival and conference, is inviting Nordic producers and filmmakers to take part in a Nordic delegation at this year’s festival, in association with Filmkontakt Nord.

Sheffield Doc/Fest offers extensive marketplace opportunities for all delegates. In 2008, 117 decision makers attended Doc/Fest, and over £8.5m in investment was secured for documentaries. Doc/Fest is the perfect place to meet potential production investors and production partners. The relaxed atmosphere provides a perfect forum to hold informal and formal meetings in and around the Marketplace, the Showroom Bar, the Industry Delegate Centre or the many bars and cafes around the area.

Members of the delegation will be offered a heavily-reduced rate pass of £150 (plus VAT), will be named in the festival catalogue and website, and be profiled on the website in a devoted section. Furthermore special advice of how to make the most of the event will be offered by Doc/Fest to the delegation members. For more information on being part of the delegation, please contact Doc/Fest's Marketplace Producer Charlie Phillips. Registration must be completed by Monday September 14th in order to be named in the festival catalogue!
