Nordisk Panorama Partners with Nordic Game

Nordisk Panorama is partnering with Nordic Game to facilitate Nordic filmmakers' participation at the Nordic Transmedia Meet-up in Malmö during the Nordic Game Conference. Nordisk Panorama's contribution allows an additional 25 filmmakers to attend the Nordic Transmedia Meet-up free of charge!

The Nordic Transmedia Meet-up takes place on 22 May from 15:00 until midnight, and includes:

• A Master class with Carri Bugbee, digital marketing expert and the award winning creator of Mad Men fan fiction stories for @peggyolson and #TeamPeggyList
• An un-conference session where participants self-organize to discuss challenges and successes, to find partners and to network
• An informal meet-up dinner and the Nordic Game Indie Night party with screening of Suvi Helminen's interactive documentary "48 Hour Games"

The goal of the Nordic Transmedia Meet-up is for industry professionals to gain insight into conditions and methods across genres and fields of business for mutual benefit and to make new partnerships and projects flourish.

Since the first edition at last year's Nordic Game Conference, members of the Nordic Transmedia Meet-up group have themselves initiated 7 meet-ups at various Nordic locations. A future Nordic Transmedia Meet-up will take place at Nordisk Panorama in Malmö this September in connection with a special day of seminars and talks dedicated to transmedia and leading up to the 48 hour Hackathon.

To sign up for the Nordic Transmedia Meet-up free of charge, go here.

As a meet-up participant you will also be granted a SEK 1000,- discount on the accreditation fee to the Nordic Game Conference 23-24 May if registering before 1 May. To learn more and register, go here.

Projects Selected for Manymade Mentored Crowdfunding Campaign
Filmkontakt Nord and Manymade are pleased to announce the three projects chosen for mentoring from the recent Crowdfunding Call for Projects. We would like to thank everyone for sharing their work with us. The three projects chosen were exemplars of the types of projects ideal for raising funds by partnering with their audiences to achieve a vision that includes them in all phases.

The selected projects are:

Escaping Sunshine by Allan van O.T. Andersen, Producer: Rasa Miskinyte, Era Film, Lithuania/Denmark
The Accidental Rock Star by Igor Devold, Producer: Ingvil Giske, Medieoperatørene, Norway
The Fall by Andreas Thaulow, Producer: Håvard Gossé Bergseth, Gossé Media, Norway

These projects offer interesting subject matter, and present thoughtful ideas on how crowdfunding will be used to support their creation and engage their audiences. All three projects are unique in their message, their expected use of the platform and the funding, and demonstrate a mix of different formats and subjects to connect with their potential supporters.

The crowdfunding campaigns will appear on the Manymade website in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out at to check out the projects and support them.
